Site work for a transportation facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The existing communications cabinet has deteriorated and reached the end of its useful life. This project will replace the existing cabinet and install heating and air conditioning for the cabinet. Substantial Completion is 270 Days after Notice to Proceed. Final Completion is 330 days after Notice to Proceed. There are liquidated damages for failure to meet the substantial and final completion milestones, $350.00 per day for failure to meet substantial completion and $250.00 per day for failure to meet final completion. There is no DBE goal for this project. The existing communications cabinet has deteriorated and reached the end of its useful life. This project will replace the existing cabinet and install heating and air conditioning for the cabinet. . The signal work shall in general include all equipment, labor, reinstallation, and testing to provide/maintain GCRTA's signal system during and after the track construction. The contractor shall assure and maintain continuity of signal service during the duration of the contract. C. The contractor shall comply generally with the following criteria for storage, reuse, modification, relocation, and reinstallation of existing facilities: 1. Removal and reinstallation of wayside signaling equipment. 2. All underground local cables shall be reused. If any cable is damaged during the work process, replace with new cable and test as specified. 3. Removal and reinstallation of all track cables and bootlegs, impedance bonds and their JB's, and signal cables to facilitate the track work. Reinstall all wires and cables at required depths. 4. Provide a final coat of paint and stenciling to all relocated field equipment, including junction boxes, and impedance bond covers. 5. Location, installation and testing of insulated joints. 6.
