Sealed bids for Cleaning, Televising and Inspection of the Sanitary Sewers System Pipes throughout the Township of Grosse Ile, Michigan will be received. The work includes approximately 215,000 lineal feet of cleaning, televising/recording, and inspecting sanitary pipes with sizes ranging from 8-inch to 12-inch, approximately 65,000 lineal feet of cleaning, televising/recording, and inspecting sanitary pipes sized 15-inch to 24-inch, and approximately 40,000 lineal feet of cleaning, televising/recording, and inspecting sanitary pipes sized 27-inch to 48-inch, along with all related items. Each proposal must be submitted on the forms provided and accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, money order, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. The successful bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) days following the date set for receipt. Proposals submitted after the specified time, or via telephone, facsimile, or email, will not be accepted. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informality, and award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The award is initially for Section II and Section III and may be extended to Sections IV and V at the OWNER’s discretion. Failure to enter into a contract and provide required bonds and insurance within fifteen (15) days of award will result in forfeiture of bid security.
