The R-V Fire Protection District Board of Directors is seeking sealed bids for the removal and replacement of the Monticello Fire Station. The project consists of six phases: concrete work, building construction, electrical work, plumbing installation, overhead door installation and HVAC installation. Construction of New Addition: Exterior: A) Exterior walls 2x6 construction, 14’ sidewalls, 2’ on center B) Exterior wall purlins 2x4 construction, 2’ on center horizontally C) House wrap exterior walls D) Truss on 4’ centers 4/12 pitch (match pitch on existing community building) 4’ overhang front only E) Roof purlins 2’ on center 2x4 F) 29 gauge metal on roof and walls, screwed G) 1 steel 3/0 outswing door with commercial hardware H) Remove existing metal on community room walls and roof I) Install new 29 gauge metal on existing community room walls and roof J) All roof metal to have rain guard on it to protect from sweating or bubble wrap installed under it K) Install new 5” gutter and downspouts Interior: A) Wall insulation R-21, poly vapor barrier B) All walls to be covered with 29 gauge metal, white C) South 55’ – 8” wall to have L.P., 4x8 siding installed on lower part (painted to color choice) remaining 6’ to be 29 gauge metal, white D) Ceiling to have white 29 gauge metal installed E) All metal installed with have proper trim pieces F) Ceiling insulation R-48 cellulose G) Cut 3/0 entry door between new addition and hallway to community room H) Install new 3/0 entry door and trim out The R-V Fire Protection District Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
