Site work for a water / sewer project in Jefferson, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
A. Work of the Project includes installation of a precast post-tensioned equalization basin adjacent to the existing equalization basin at the Jefferson WWTP. Site piping modifications will also made. B. All excavation and subgrade preparation for the basin is to be provided by the Contractor and shall be in accordance with the provided geotechnical report. The Village has a location that excavation spoil can be disposed. The Contractor shall coordinate disposal with the Owner. The current negotiated goal for construction related activitiesis 5.4% (the total goal is based on 3.1% of MBEs and 2.3% of WBEs participation). OPINION OF PROBABLE CONSTRUCTION COST: $1,320,000.00 Sealed bids are invited for improvements to the Jefferson Wastewater Treatment Plant EQ Basin. Bids must comply with the provided specifications and drawings and be submitted on forms available from Verdantas LLC. Bidders can register, pay for, and download bid documents online. The project is funded by the Water Pollution Control Loan Fund Program, administered by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio Water Development Authority. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation goals apply. This procurement is also subject to the EPA policy encouraging small business participation in rural areas.
