Description

Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Waterbury, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 59,528-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The City of Waterbury Fire Department has identified Station 5 to be located on a selected 59,528 square feet (or 1.37 acres) portion of the Rotella Magnet School property on Pierpont Road in Waterbury, CT as a facility potentially needing to be constructed. The existing Station 5 on East Main Street has undergone an assessment, showing that renovation costs may not be the best use of resources compared to the cost of a complete replacement. This project includes the Design Phase, Bidding Phase, and Construction Administration Services, as well as any additional necessary associated services for the complete replacement of the fire station.
