Major quantities for the work include clearing and grubbing; removal of bituminous and concrete pavement; common excavation and embankment; aggregate base; bituminous mixture for wear and non-wear surfaces; installation of 6-inch concrete driveway walk; sign installation; pavement striping; installation of various PVC sewer service and sanitary sewer pipes; construction of sanitary structures and a lift station; installation of water main lines, gate valves, and boxes; installation of 1-inch PE pipe and associated corporation stops and curb stops; hydrant installation; ductile iron fittings; installation of RCP storm sewer and a storm sewer treatment unit; topsoil borrow; 8-inch bioroll wood fiber; silt fence installation; and turf restoration by seed or sod. Paper bids must be submitted on the provided form and in accordance with bidding documents. Each bid requires bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid. Contractors must submit a signed and sworn statement verifying compliance with minimum criteria from Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. A pre-Bid conference will not be held for this Project All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
