The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents consist of the Contract, the Notice Inviting Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Proposal (including documentation accompanying the Bid Proposal and any post-Bid Proposal documentation submitted before the Notice of Award), the Bonds, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, General Provisions, Special Provisions, Plans, Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, Reference Specifications, Addenda, Change Orders, and Supplemental Agreements. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer. Time for completion of the Work is Thirty (30) total Working Days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed and shall be inclusive of the procurement time to furnish and install all materials associated with this project. The successful Contractor must also possess a current City Business license. Liquidated Damages $1000/day The scope of work includes site security improvements at Pump Station 58A, located at 3125 E. Simpson Avenue. Work is to include the removal of 2 existing swing gates and associated hardware, supply and installation of approximately 154 LF of new 3'6" tall Concrete Masonry Units (CMU) wall toppers to existing CMU wall per drawings and details, supply and installation of approximately 185 LF of new 2'10" tall CMU wall toppers to existing CMU wall per drawings and details and supply and installation of 2 new 19 LF rolling gates and associated hardware. Hardware is to include a multi-lock system to be submitted by the contractor and approved by the engineer.
