This project will involve the construction of a new restroom building to serve park users and the surrounding community. The City of Madison ("City") is inviting qualified contractors to bid on the construction of a new permanent restroom facility at Andrews Park, located at 501 Wellington St, Madison, Georgia 30650. The work under this contract includes the complete construction of a new facility, including all building components, site work, finishes, and all related elements required for a fully functional restroom building. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, delivery, installation, and incidentals necessary to complete the project in its entirety. While the City has established baseline requirements through the construction documents Bidders may propose alternative means and methods, materials, or sequencing approaches that meet or exceed the intent of the design and applicable codes, provided such alternatives are clearly identified and explained, and do not reduce quality, durability, or functionality. All work shall be coordinated with the Director of Public Works, Shawn Wood.
