The work consists of providing fire alarm testing, repair and modification services, including mandated testing, maintenance repairs, emergency repair calls, new installations, and modifications and repairs to existing fire alarm, sprinkler, and suppression systems such as FM200 in West Sacramento. Mandated testing will be scheduled, while all other installation and repairs will be on a quoted request basis, not exceeding $5,000 for any single repair, modification, or installation without prior approval. All work must comply with the California Code of Regulations, Title 19, and NFPA 13, 25, and 72 standards, or as directed by the City of West Sacramento's Fire Department’s Fire Marshall. Water-based fire protection systems must be inspected, tested, and maintained according to NFPA frequencies. The contractor is to provide testing, inspection, and repair maintenance as per manufacturer’s specifications for fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems and their components. If any work is rejected, the contractor shall remedy it at no extra cost. Additional services and repairs are to be quoted individually and require prior approval by the City’s representative(s). The City may use other vendors for services outside this scope. Contractors must furnish all tools, materials, supplies, and equipment needed, submit written service reports with invoices, maintain maintenance logs and inspection reports, handle all materials safely, dispose of any generated waste, and coordinate service or schedule changes as directed. Subcontractors must be approved in advance and meet insurance requirements. Contractors must have at least five years of relevant experience in Northern California and provide warranties for materials and service calls. The contract may last up to three years, with options for two additional one-year extensions, not exceeding five years in total. Question Deadline 03/10/2026 at 5:00 PM PT
