This work shall consist of the pulverization of the existing asphalt surface and aggregate base course over the roadbed as indicated in this bid and as provided in Section 325, State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation "Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction", most recent edition. Milling may occur on a case by case basis throughout the 2026 construction season. Vendors are encouraged to submit a bid for pulverization or milling and a combination of. The Marinette County Highway Department is requesting bids for pulverizing and milling of local and county trunk highways throughout Marinette County during the 2026 construction season. LRIP (Local Road Improvement Program) funds may be utilized for this process. Notwithstanding any other provisions of the RFB, Marinette County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity or informality in a bid, and to accept or reject any item or a combination of items when doing so would be to the advantage of Marinette County or its taxpayers. It is further within the right of Marinette County to reject bids that do not contain all elements and information requested in this document. Marinette County shall not be liable for any losses incurred by the vendor making the bid throughout this process. The cost of preparing a response to this RFB is not reimbursable in part or in whole to the vendor. Any bid received will become the property of Marinette County and a matter of public record. Any proprietary material or information should be marked and submitted as a supplement to the bid to allow the County to protect the information as warranted.
