Iredell County is seeking qualified contractors to provide construction services for the development of an overflow parking lot at Jennings Park, located at 156, 158, and 178 Deitz Road, Statesville, NC. The project involves the construction of approximately 300 paved parking spaces, including curb and gutter, a stormwater pond, sidewalks, and crosswalks, in accordance with detailed drawings and specifications. Other aspects for the construction project include submitting qualifications showing the company is capable to handle all aspects of this project. All work must be performed in accordance with the plans provided for the project and must meet all applicable local, state, and federal standards and regulations. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and approvals and for coordinating with all relevant agencies and stakeholders throughout the project. By submitting a proposal, the contractor acknowledges that they have reviewed the project site and the professional services plans and are fully aware of the scope and requirements of the project. The project scope includes the development of approximately 300 paved parking spaces, installation of curb and gutter, construction of a stormwater retention pond, and the addition of sidewalks and a designated crosswalk. The work will be completed in accordance with applicable county specifications and regulatory requirements. Sealed bids are requested for the construction activities for the Iredell County Jennings Overflow Parking Lot project. Bids can be delivered in person, via regular mail, or by special courier service to the Iredell County Purchasing Office.
