Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dayton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are invited for the materials and labor necessary for the 2026 Street Improvement Program, which consists of milling and resurfacing selected streets within the Township, including approximately 6,000 cubic yards of asphalt resurfacing and other miscellaneous items. Bidders must furnish a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Proposals must include the full names of all parties submitting the proposal and all interested persons, as well as evidence of experience with projects of similar size and complexity. The project must be completed by November 1, 2026. All contractors and subcontractors are required to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor to the extent practicable. Payment of prevailing wages is required. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, or not award the bid at all. Bidders must hold their bids open for sixty days after the bid opening and ensure nondiscrimination in employment. If a Bidder contemplating submitting a Bid for the proposed Project is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Contract Documents, it may submit a written request for an interpretation thereof to Tim Franck, Township Public Works Director tim.franck@washingtontwp.org in writing on the form included with the Contract Documents.
