The project requires furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant work needed to satisfactorily complete the demolition of all existing buildings, structures, foundations, paved surfaces and hardscapes, above ground utility structures, chainlink fencing, and all underground utility pipes, irrigation lines, and conduits. Exceptions include the existing Los Angeles County flood control RCP Storm Drain Pipe and Drainage Inlet Structure(s) along the easterly property, and an existing City of Norwalk Sewer Pipe in the southeasterly corner, both of which must be fully protected in place. All utilities must be abandoned and capped to the satisfaction of the city inspector. The work is to be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantities of work and materials are approximations for bid comparison; actual quantities may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer.
