Question Deadline 02/20/2026 Request for interpretation should be addressed only to the Consultant either in writing or via telephone. No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder as to meaning of drawings and specifications. Request for interpretation will be accepted until five (5) days prior to date set for opening of bids. The work consists generally of abandonment and closure of six existing raw water wells of varying depths in the area surrounding the City's existing North Water Treatment Facility and all necessary and appurtenant work required to complete the work as described in these specifications. Sealed bids are solicited for the abandonment and closure of six existing raw water wells of varying depths in the area surrounding the City's North Water Treatment Facility, along with all necessary and appurtenant work required to complete this task as described in the specifications. Bidders must be licensed contractors able to perform this type of construction. A certified check, bank draft payable to the City of Millington, or a satisfactory bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must be submitted with each bid. Submittal of three copies of the bid response is required: one original and two copies. Bids will remain effective for sixty days after opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to accept the lowest bid per location deemed in its best interest.
