Maury County, Tennessee is soliciting bids for the replacement of the roofing system in its entirety located at 1 Public Square, Columbia, TN 38401. The specifications provided are considered as minimum specifications and are not intended to exclude any company from providing bids for the requested materials, supplies, and/or work. Materials, supplies, or work that meet or exceed the minimum specifications will be considered. All work must be performed in accordance with federal and state regulations, including but not limited to OSHA and TOSHA practices and standards. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name. When applicable, all appropriate licensing and required information must appear on the exterior of the submittal envelope, as required by T.C.A. 626-119. The contractor will be responsible for the following: Total roof area - Approximately 4650 square feet. 1. Perform all work in accordance with OSHA practices and standards 2. Provide signage and safety barriers along pedestrian sidewalks 3. Demo and remove existing roofing material 4. Demo and remove insulation material 5. Clean and inspect all surfaces during the deck structure's preparation process 6. Supply and install new roof insulation. The cover-board is to be mechanically fastened through metal decking per manufacturer's specifications 7. Fully adhere to the new 60 mil TPO membrane with overlapping to manufacturer's specifications 8. Flash all vertical protrusions and penetrations per manufacturer's specifications 9. Provide and install edge metal and termination bars where applicable on parapet walls and inspect coping joint gaps and damage 10. Inspect roof slope and assess the needs for tapered insulation and/or crickets for adequate drainage 11. Price to include removal and disposal of debris and daily cleanup of job site 12. Supply a 20-year Warranty for roofing system upon completion and final inspection
