The work for which proposals are invited consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for replacement of a sanitary sewer force main along Bixby Road in Groveport, Ohio. Work to include: Approximately 860 lineal feet of 6-inch force main, of which about 780 feet will be installed via directional bore, with tracer wire and access boxes and one automatic air release valve. . Question Deadline 02/20/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Bids must contain the full name and address of each person or company interested, and be accompanied by a bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the bid, or by a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit for ten percent of the bid, made payable to the City of Groveport, Ohio. If the bid is accepted, a Contract must be entered into within 10 days after notice of acceptance. A Performance Bond of One Hundred Percent of the Contract amount with a satisfactory surety company, conditioned according to law, will be required for faithful performance. Each Bidder must ensure nondiscrimination in employment. The work must begin within ten calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and be completed within ninety calendar days after such notice. Bidders must detail their experience in this class of work; those inexperienced in this work will not be considered. Payment of prevailing wages is required. The City of Groveport reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive technical defects as the interests of the City may require.
