Separate sealed bids are requested for 2021 BOND PHASE 3 (BID#25/26-18) for the Accompsett Middle School. The work involves Contract No. 4- Electrical Reconstruction. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form, sealed in an opaque envelope, and clearly marked with the bidder's name, address, contract name and number, and the bid opening date. Each bidder must include bid security not less than 10% of the base and all alternate bids. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, or all proposals may be rejected. The School District reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject any alternatives, reject any proposals, and advertise for new proposals if deemed in the best interest of the School District. Bidders may not withdraw their bids for 45 days after the opening, except as permitted by law. A pre-bid conference and walk through is scheduled, and while not mandatory, attendance is highly recommended for all potential bidders.
