2021 Bond Phase 3 Accompsett Middle School - Plumbing Reconstruction Separate sealed bids are requested for 2021 BOND PHASE 3, Contract No. 2 - Plumbing Reconstruction at Accompsett Middle School. Bids must be submitted on the standard proposal form as specified in the Instructions to Bidders, sealed in an opaque envelope with the bidder's name and address, contract name and number, and bid opening date. Each bid must include security not less than 10% of the base and all alternate bids, as per Instructions to Bidders (Section 8), payable to SMITHTOWN CSD. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, or all proposals may be rejected at the discretion of the School District. Bidders may not withdraw their bids for 45 days after bid opening, except as allowed by law. A pre-bid conference and walkthrough is scheduled for bidders at Accompsett Middle School main entrance. Complete digital contract documents are available for a nonrefundable fee, and hard copies can be obtained with a deposit, refundable under certain conditions. Bidders are responsible for packaging and shipping costs for document delivery if required. All bidders will receive addenda via email or website, and must decide if hard copies are needed for addenda. SED No. 58-08-01-06-0-034-032- ACCOMPSETT MIDDLE SCHOOL 58-08-01-06-0-034-033- ACCOMPSETT MIDDLE SCHOOL All Bid Addenda will be transmitted to registered plan holders via email and will be available at the above referenced website. Plan holders who have obtained hard copies of the bid documents will need to make the determination if hard copies of the addenda are required for their use. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. The bid deposit for hard copies will be returned upon receipt of plans and specifications, in good condition, within 30 days after bid date, except for the lowest responsible bidder, whose check will be forfeited upon the award of the contract. Question Deadline 02/19/2026 All questions about the Bidding Documents must be submitted to the Architect in writing. No inquiry received within seven (7) calendar days of the date fixed for the opening of bids will be given consideration.
