The Contractor will furnish all plant, labor, materials, supplies, equipment and other facilities and things necessary or proper for, or incidental to, the work contemplated by this contract as required by, and in strict accordance with, the applicable Plans, Specifications and Addenda prepared by the Superintendent and/or required by, and in strict accordance with, such changes as are ordered and approved pursuant to this contract, and will perform all other obligations imposed on by this contract. Question Deadline 03/19/2026 Every request for information or interpretation of the Contract Documents or drawings must be addressed in writing to the Town Engineer, Town of Smithtown Department of Engineering, 124 W. Main Street, Smithtown, New York, and to be given any consideration must be received at least five (5) working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Sealed proposals are requested for Bamboo Removal and Drainage Improvements to Town Property between 116 and 118 Oakside Drive in Smithtown, NY. Bidders must understand the scope and magnitude of this project before submitting quotations. Each bid must be accompanied by either a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, made payable to the Town of Smithtown, to assure contract execution if awarded. Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate and Disclosure Statements must accompany each bid. All bids must be submitted intact and minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to participate. The Town of Smithtown reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
