Separate sealed bids are requested for masonry reconstruction at Accompsett Middle School under Contract No. 5. Bids must follow the procedures designated by the Instructions to Bidders, using the standard proposal form, and be sealed in an opaque envelope that includes the name and address of the bidder, contract name and number, and the bid opening date. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid and all alternate bids in the appropriate form as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder within 45 days of bid opening or all proposals will be rejected. The School District reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject alternatives, reject any or all proposals, and advertise for new bids if deemed in its best interest. Bidders may not withdraw their bid for 45 days after the opening, except as allowed by law.
