Renovation of an educational facility in Bloomington, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A Unified Bid is requested for all work in this project, including General, Mechanical, and Electrical Construction work to renovate multiple restrooms located in multiple buildings: BL147, BL414, and BL419 at Indiana University Bloomington. Bidders must submit electronic bids via the specified platform and be registered and signed into the plan room in order to submit a bid. All bid proposals should comply fully with the Bidding Documents. Each bid must include a completed Minority, Women's and Veteran's Business Enterprise Participation Plan, a bid security for 5% of the total bid, and the contractor's written drug testing program in compliance with Indiana Code 4-13-18. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in bidding. Bids may be considered incomplete if required documentation is not provided. The Base Bid may be held up to sixty days before awarding contracts; Alternate Bids may be held up to ninety days for possible incorporation by Change Directive. If a successful bidder withdraws or fails to execute a contract within ten days after notice of acceptance, the Bid Security may be forfeited as liquidated damages.
