This project includes renovations of existing spaces, including conversion of an existing concessions area into multiple team locker rooms adjacent to the existing stadium on the home side, renovation of the existing visitor side locker/toilet room building, and construction of a new stadium gateway building which includes ticketing, new concessions, and officials locker room. Work also includes site work, grading, and utilities. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of Tennessee in strict accordance with State regulations. The outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid must provide the name, license number, the date of the license's expiration, and the classification of the contractor(s) applying to the bid for the prime contract and for the electrical contracts (if applicable). For bids less than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), only the contractor's name may appear on the outside of the envelope, but if the bid exceeds this amount, it will be disqualified. Prime contractor bidders performing electrical work must be designated on the envelope. In joint venture bids, each party must provide this information. All bidders must comply with the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976 and as amended (TCA Title 62) and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. All bids must be submitted on the Bid Forms found in the specification packet, and only bidders who have obtained the packet from the Engineer and are on the bidders list may have their bids opened. Bid security of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must be included. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days of the opening. Employees of the selected contractor must have a sexual predator background check performed prior to entering any Coffee County school grounds.
