Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Manchester, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
Coffee County Highway Department is accepting bids for the construction of an 80'-0" single span concrete bridge (90' skew) on Ragsdale Road over Taylor Branch. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Coffee County Purchasing Department, 1329 McArthur Street, Suite 5, Manchester, TN 37355, plainly marked with "Ragsdale Road over Taylor Branch Bridge Replacement." No faxed or late bids will be accepted. Coffee County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and must have a current Tennessee Contractor's License. Evidence of a license in the appropriate classification must be provided with the bid. The license number, expiration date, and classification of both the contractor and sub-contractor must be listed on the outside of the envelope. No contract will be awarded to any firm or individual currently debarred by the State of Tennessee or the Federal Highway Administration. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are available for examination at designated locations and may be purchased from Collier Engineering Company, Inc. for a non-refundable deposit. Completion - (360) calendar days Question Deadline 11/28/2025 - No interpretations of the meaning of the Plans, Specifications or other Bid Documents will be made orally to any Bidder. Request for interpretations shall be made in writing addressed to Collier Engineering Company, Inc., 2949 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211, and must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date scheduled for opening of bids .
