Contract 125 consists of furnishing and installing approximately 20,800 linear feet of 6-inch, 4-inch, and 2-inch PVC water line, valves, fittings, air release valves, pavement replacement, and related appurtenances as shown on the plans. This project is supported by American Rescue Plan Act, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding, and Appalachian Regional Commission funding, which imposes certain restrictions and federal requirements. Construction time allotted is 300 calendar days. Each contractor choosing to bid must obtain bid documents from James C. Hailey & Company, Consulting Engineers, with a non-refundable payment. The successful bidder will provide a performance bond equal to the amount of the bid and must be licensed as a contractor for the district before starting work.
