Site work for a transportation facility in Osborne, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment, and perform all work necessary for completing the Rehabilitate Runway 2/20 Project at Osborne Municipal Airport. The major construction items include: Site preparation and mobilization, temporary airport safety measures, grade control milling of existing asphalt pavement (approximately 0.5-inch variable depth), crack repair for cracks less than or equal to 1.5 inches and greater than 1.5 inches (as needed), construction of new asphalt pavement (1.5-inch depth), temporary and permanent airfield pavement marking, and earthwork including topsoil, seeding, and mulching. Bidders are encouraged to examine the site. Contractors do not need to be pre-qualified but must be qualified to do the work. Each bid must include a bid guaranty of at least 5% of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract value. Award will be based on the lowest aggregate sum proposal from responsive and responsible bidders, with the right reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities. Federal civil rights and contract provisions apply. Question Deadline 02/25/2026 The Owner or Engineer must receive the written request a minimum of seven (7) calendar days prior to the date of the bid opening.
