Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Highland, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project consists of the furnishing and installation of all equipment, labor, and materials for the reconstruction of sidewalk curb ramps for ADA compliance along several road segments in the Town of Highland. Bids must be properly and completely executed on the designated Bid Form and must include a completed Town of Highland Affidavit of Compliance, Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, Certification Regarding Unauthorized Aliens, signed copies of any Addenda (if issued), and satisfactory bid security. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check made payable to the Town of Highland or a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid price, executed by a qualified surety company. Upon award, performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price are required. Contractors and subcontractors must be licensed with the Town of Highland. The project is subject to federal requirements, including affirmative action hiring guidelines, Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates, and non-discrimination provisions. The Board of Works reserves the right to waive informalities, to retain all bids for up to 30 days, and to award the contract to any bidder or reject all bids in the best interest of the Town of Highland.
