A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Contractor to provide all labor, materials, supervision, trash removal, and all other items needed for a complete project to accomplish the work as indicated in the scope of work. The goal of this work is to provide and install window film to be resistant to forced entry, shooter entry, and smash and grabs. The district has been fortunate to utilize some grant funding over the last couple of years to install security window film at a few locations. The product that was utilized was Clear Armor SL-15 and the District would like to utilize this product to maintain consistency throughout the district. For products other than the Clear Armor SL-15 that are proposed, the District will determine if the product is equal or better based on the information submitted in proposals. Ultimately, the District would like to have the security window film applied at all exterior windows, to include windows in exterior doors, and all interior windows, to include windows in interior doors, up to a height of at least 6'-0 above finished grade or finished floor. The District will make a determination on the windows that will receive security window film based on the budget available. The District has measured all windows at all locations that are desired to have security window film installed. This information is provided on Attachment G, the Pricing Schedule for each location. The dimensions have been rounded up to the nearest foot. The majority of the glass that will have the security window film installed on is either insulated glazing, tempered glazing, or laminated glazing.
