Remodeling of a restaurant in Dunkirk, New York. Completed plans call for the remodel of a restaurant.

New flooring: Remove all existing flooring material in designated deli areas; prepare subfloor with necessary repairs or leveling; install new Lifetouch waterproof vinyl and new trim as needed; seal all seams and edges to prevent moisture infiltration; move all equipment and displays back in place; dispose of all debris; conduct final inspection for quality and compliance with health and safety standards. New exhaust system and wiring: Install a new exhaust system to meet code requirements for ventilation and fire safety; integrate new wiring and chute through the wall; update fan and wiring system; test for proper airflow, noise, and functionality; certify system operation and code compliance. Electrical upgrades: Upgrade existing 150-AMP electrical service; install new service entrance wire, weather head, two-gang meter can, two-hole straps, ground rods, ground wire, and three main breaker panels with new breakers; clean up and straighten wiring in basement by electrical panels; ensure full compliance with electrical codes and inspection protocols; document all upgrades performed. New cooler condensing unit: Select and install a new, energy-efficient condensing unit sized for the deli’s refrigeration needs (M6KP-0092-CAV-072 1HP Copeland Condensing Unit 208V 1 Phase); connect to upgraded electrical and refrigerant lines; integrate with temperature controls and safety devices; test for optimal performance, leaks, and code-required certification; dispose or recycle old equipment. Installation of new sliding windows: Remove existing side windows; install two commercial-grade, vinyl, energy-efficient sliding windows; replace any rotted wood; seal around frames; clean up and dispose of debris; verify new windows meet codes for egress, safety, and accessibility. New permanently affixed signage: Design, fabricate, and install new exterior signage; place for visibility, branding, and code compliance; integrate wiring for illuminated or digital signs; ensure secure mounting, operational safety, and aesthetic alignment with business identity. All work must be performed by licensed professionals in accordance with local building codes and regulations. Vendors must provide references and proof of insurance (general liability minimum $1 million and workers' compensation). The City of Dunkirk, State of New York, and Housing Trust Fund Corporation must be listed as additional insured. Selection will result in a contract with the lowest responsible vendor within 60 days. If a quote other than the lowest is chosen, reimbursement will be based on the lowest bid/proposal. MWBEs and SDVOBs are encouraged to submit quotes.
