CR#: 2131427 New Flooring: Removal and disposal of existing flooring and carpeting in compliance with local waste regulations; installation of new luxury vinyl plank flooring, base, and transitions, and new carpeting in storage room. Asbestos-containing materials must be handled and disposed of according to NYS Department of Labor requirements and local regulations. All installations must meet accessibility, durability, and high-traffic demands, concluding with a final inspection for code and design compliance. Installation of New Roof: Remove existing roof structure and any damaged materials, inspect and replace compromised decking, install a new commercial-grade, weather-resistant roof with sealing and insulation for energy efficiency. Comply with all building codes and fire safety standards. Final inspection certifies structural soundness and safety conformity. Exterior Painting: Prepare exterior side wall (cleaning, sanding, priming), apply high-quality weather-resistant paint, select finishes to match architectural style, and comply with environmental and safety standards. Final inspection for uniform coverage and aesthetic quality. Siding Repair: Remove and dispose of damaged siding in accordance with waste regulations; repair and finish/seal for long-term protection and aesthetics. New HVAC System: Remove existing HVAC, dispose per environmental regulations; install new energy-efficient HVAC system; reconnect all utilities and test system. Must provide warranties (1-year labor, 10-year compressor/parts, limited lifetime heat exchanger) and comply with all codes related to environment and energy. Installation of New Energy-Efficient Doors: - Front Entry: Remove two existing doors, install new aluminum full-view doors/frames, hardware, and insulated safety glass. - Back Entry: Remove one door, install new outswing white composite frame with ADA threshold and commercial hardware. Apply sealing and finishing materials to ensure durability, aesthetics, and code accessibility. Final inspection for function, energy performance, and safety. All work must be performed by licensed professionals in accordance with local building codes. Vendors must provide references and proof of insurance ($1 million liability, workers' compensation) listing the City of Dunkirk, the State of New York, and the Housing Trust Fund Corporation as additional insured. MWBEs and SDVOBs are encouraged to submit quotes. If a vendor other than the lowest responsible is chosen, reimbursement will be capped at the lowest bid. The project meets environmental compliance reviews and does not address code violations.
