Renovation of a recreation facility in Dunkirk, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.

New HVAC System: Remove and dispose of the existing HVAC system following environmental regulations. Install an energy-efficient HVAC system appropriate for the building's size and layout. Integrate advanced controls for temperature, humidity, and air quality optimization. Seal and insulate ducts to prevent energy loss and enhance air circulation. Test and calibrate the system for peak operational performance. Provide a 1-year labor, 10-year parts, and limited lifetime heat exchange warranty on Trane equipment. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, including environmental and energy performance codes. New Front and Side Awnings: Design and fabricate front and side awnings to meet building aesthetics and functional requirements. Recover two existing welded frame awnings and provide a new welded frame awning using Tempotest #T5 – Forest Green Acrylic Shade Fabric for all awnings. Integrate anchoring systems and sealing methods to enhance durability and prevent leaks. Ensure compliance with local zoning. Conduct a final inspection to verify proper installation and regulatory compliance. Exterior Painting: Paint the front of the first floor, including areas around doors and windows. Repair and paint any rotting wood. Prepare surfaces by cleaning and removing debris. Apply durable, weather-resistant paint to enhance aesthetics and protect against environmental elements. New Permanently Affixed Signage: Design and fabricate a 26” x 101” sign, 1-sided, full-color digital print treated with UV protectant, mounted on ¼" corrugated aluminum. Install signage at the designated location for visibility and permanence. Comply with local zoning and design standards. Conduct a final inspection to verify adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards. All work must be performed by licensed professionals according to local building codes and regulations. Vendors must provide references and proof of insurance, including general liability coverage of at least $1 million and workers' compensation coverage. The City of Dunkirk, the State of New York, and the Housing Trust Fund Corporation must be listed as additional insured. If the property/business owner selects a quote other than the lowest, reimbursement will be based on the lowest bid/proposal.
