Site work and new construction of a civil project in Oak Grove, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The project involves two separate contracts. Contract 1 includes the construction of a 500,000-gallon composite elevated water storage tank. Contract 2 involves approximately 5,650 LF of 16-inch and 3,660 LF of 8-inch water line. All work shall be as described by the Contract Drawings and Specifications. Separate bids will be received for each Contract. All bidders shall submit with their bid an acceptable bid bond or a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to accept or reject any bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the date of the bid opening. If an award is made, it will be to the responsive and responsible bidder perceived by the Owner as offering the greatest advantage. Question Deadline 02/18/2026 Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing Questions regarding the project may be directed to McGhee Engineering at (270) 483-9985.
