The project is located on CSAH 9 from the intersection of TH 10, north approximately 2.0 miles to the intersection of CSAH 18. Major quantities of work include milling 2.0 inches of bituminous surface (31,129 SY), placing Type SP 12.5 Wearing Course Mix (3,B) (8,101 tons), and installing 6" solid line multi-component striping (19,550 LF). Bidders must submit electronic bids through the County's OneOffice website under SAP 014-609-010. Contractors must be registered planholders. Electronic bids must be accompanied by a corporate surety bond of at least 5% of the total bid, submitted either electronically or by hard copy to the Clay County Highway Department in a sealed envelope marked with the bidder's name, type of work, and project number by 4:30pm CST the business day prior to the bid opening. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any bids, waive irregularities, and award the contract as deemed in the best interest of Clay County.
