Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) seeks architects to perform design work for future new school buildings, additions, feasibility studies, renovations, and related services. Professional architectural services will be required for various school-related projects primarily capital in nature, with shared local and State construction funding and local design funding. Project planning, programming, design, and construction execution shall adhere to the State of Maryland Public School Construction Administrative Procedures Guide. Initial tasks may include design of a new 780-capacity elementary school (site to be designated), assisting an educational specifications committee, preparation of a feasibility study for a school renovation (school to be designated), and other tasks dependent on State and County Capital Improvement Program funding. Interested firms should submit a current U.S. Government Standard Form 330, a letter of interest, Maryland registration number, and any brochures or relevant information for consideration. Submissions must be in a 3-ring binder. Certified Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond.
