Sealed bids are invited for Tree Pruning and Tree Removal Services. Specifications can be reviewed at the office of the Borough Clerk. Bidders must use the prepared Proposal Form and submit their proposals in a sealed envelope addressed to the Borough Clerk, marked with the name and address of the bidder and the contract name. No bids will be accepted after the bid opening has commenced. Contracts will be awarded based on price and the needs of the Borough. Proposals should be clear, not subject to qualifications, deletions, erasures, or markings that create doubt about their meaning, and must be signed by an authorized person. Instructions provided in the bid documents must be followed exactly or the bid may be declared non-responsive. The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept bids in the best interest of the Borough, waive informality, and consider bids for sixty days after receipt. Bidders must comply with New Jersey Business Registration Requirements, affirmative action rules, and the statement of corporation ownership.
