The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, and necessary items for the construction and installation of approximately 1,530 linear feet of 6-inch, 8-inch, 15-inch, 18-inch, and 24-inch PVC gravity sewer pipe; 220 linear feet of 18-inch HDPE gravity sewer pipe; installation of 15 new manholes; rebuilding and abandonment of existing pipe and manholes; and connection of new pipe to proposed manholes and pipe. Bids are to be submitted in accordance with Article 13 of the Instructions to Bidders using the two-envelope system. All bids must be submitted either via U.S. Postal Service addressed to Morgantown Utility Board, P.O. Box 852, Morgantown, West Virginia 26507-0852, or hand-delivered/submitted via commercial carrier (such as UPS or Federal Express) to 278 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, West Virginia 26501. Only Plan Holders of Record who have obtained and paid for the bidding documents from the Issuing Office may submit official bids. All work associated with the sanitary and storm sewer including the gravity sewer, manholes, storm sewer, drop inlets and stream restoration. These sections must be substantially complete and ready for service within 210 consecutive calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. All remaining work must be substantially complete in accordance with paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within the 180 consecutive calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. The site is located in Morgantown, WV by the Moses Toyota of Morgantown. The proposed project plans to cross US Route 119 (Don Knotts Blvd.) and will run parallel to the Mon River Trail S. This project will provide new sanitary sewer gravity lines and manholes in this area and connect new system to existing forcemains. The project will abandon existing raw water piping in the area A. Without intending to limit or restrict the extent of work required under the Contract, the work to be performed generally is as follows: 1. Installation of 6-inch, 8-inch, 12-inch, 15-inch, 18-inch, and 24-inch gravity sewer pipes with manholes (PVC & HDPE). 2. Abandon existing manholes and sewer main. 3. Channel upgrade. 4. All other appurtenances for the Morgantown Utility Board Cobun Creek Interceptor Project
