A qualified individual or firm is needed to replace a power breaker and trench a new electrical power feed at the USCG Cutter Chippewa moorings in Buchanan, TN. The attached scope of work provides details and photos of the required tasks. Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the scope of work, and it is strongly recommended to visit the facility to take field measurements, conduct evaluations, and become familiar with existing site conditions. This requirement is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 36, with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses and Department of Labor Construction Wage Rates included. Quoters must note that clause language referring to "offers" or "offerors" is tailored to align with FAR Part 36, clarifying that a quotation is not an offer. A firm-fixed-price purchase order will be awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable quoter, evaluated on price, technical acceptability, and past performance. Site visits may be arranged with MKC Southworth Knight, and quotes must be submitted to Joel.S.Ivy@uscg.mil by the stated due date.
