The East Lampeter Sewer Authority is requesting bids for the Oaks Pump Station 2 Elimination - Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract No. 2026-01. The work generally consists of the demolition and removal of Oaks Pump Station 2, the installation of approximately 560 linear feet of 8" diameter PVC gravity sewer pipe, auger boring of 428 linear feet of 8" ductile iron pipe in steel casing pipe, associated manholes, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction. Bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond must be provided in an amount not less than 10%. All questions regarding the bidding documents must be submitted via PennBid. Telephone inquiries are not accepted. All bidders must comply with State antibid-rigging regulations and submit a non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bidders must comply with relevant federal and state environmental protection regulations. The project requires use of the Federal E-Verify system for all employees working on the project. A Public Works Employment Verification Form must be submitted as a precondition for contract award. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies. Bids are irrevocable for 60 days after the opening date. No discrimination is permitted on the basis of gender, race, color, creed, sex, age, physical disability, or national origin.
