Site work and paving for a road / highway in Houston, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Contract A covers pavement maintenance on various roads in the township, including 10,025 square yards of 3-inch rotomilling, 525 linear feet of 24-inch keyways, 545 square yards of soft spot base repair on milled roads to be resurfaced, 2,900 square yards of base repairs on existing roads, 1,650 linear feet of underdrain in base repairs on existing roads, 15 inlet/manhole adjustments, 6,850 linear feet of 6-inch by 18-inch bituminous wedge curb, 1,510 tons of 2-inch 19mm Superpave bituminous binder, 10,025 square yards of 1.5-inch 9.5mm Superpave wearing surface, plus traffic control and restoration. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified as a prime contractor with the work classification codes E, F, and F1 and submit valid pre-qualification certification, PennDOT Pre-Qualification Certificates, and a Non-Collusion Affidavit. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, marked accordingly. A certified check or bidder's bond for 10% of the proposal amount is required. Performance and payment bonds, insurance certificates, and workman's compensation certificates must be provided with the executed agreement. Bids must remain firm for 60 days. Pennsylvania prevailing wages apply. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and may award the contract for all or portions of the work to the lowest responsible bidder, as specified in the bid documents.
