Site work and paving for a road / highway in Houston, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Houston Borough of Washington County will receive bids for the Houston Paving Project. The work includes: 19,500 SY of bituminous asphalt milling at 1.5" depth; 1,000 tons of Superpave bituminous asphalt, 9.5mm for scratch leveling; 1,850 tons of Superpave bituminous asphalt, 9.5mm for wearing course at 1.5" depth (0-0.3 million ESALS, SRL-G); and 10,000 LF of bituminous wedge curb as directed by the Borough. Bidders must pay not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents and must not discriminate against employees or applicants for employment based on race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Houston Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities. Bids may be held for up to forty-five (45) days for review. Contractors must be able to begin work within 30 days of contract execution and complete it within 120 consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed.
