The project consists of the "FY 2024 NJDOT LTPF & MA Resurfacing of Deptford Center Road" in the Township of Deptford, County of Gloucester, NJ. The proposed work includes the following major items: 17,350 S.Y. HMA milling, variable depth; 2,200 tons Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64-10R surface course, 2" thick; 250 S.Y. concrete sidewalk, 4" thick; and 625 L.F. 9"x18" concrete vertical curb. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, not to exceed $20,000. All blank spaces in the proposal must be filled in, and any changes on the bid form must be initialed or signed by the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, within ten days after the award, a performance bond or letter of credit equal to one hundred percent of the contract price. All applicable surety must be from a company on the Federal Treasury List and authorized to do business in New Jersey. Bidders must comply with all relevant legal statutes, wage acts, affirmative action requirements, and registration acts. Bids must be prepared on the provided forms and submitted with a USB of all bid forms and attachments, in a sealed and properly labeled envelope. The intent is to award a single contract based on the combined aggregate total of the base bids. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, or accept the bid that serves its best interest.
