The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of one home located in Delaware County. Work must be completed according to the work write-up and finished within 25 working days. Work should start within two weeks of notification, with a $100.00 charge for each working day past the contract end date as liquidated damages. The Mandatory Bid Response sheet and the Work Write Up must be fully completed for a bidder to be considered responsive/responsible. TERO certification is required for preference, and proof must be submitted. Bids should be e-mailed or hand delivered; late bids will not be considered. Bids will be accepted from Indian and Non-Indian bidders, but preference is given to those with proof of TERO certification. The successful bidder must comply with Tribal rules, TERO requirements, including payment of applicable fees, and complete all necessary agreements.
