Site work and paving for a road / highway in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of March 19th, 2026 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.* The work shall be completed by a qualified contractor who shall submit a turn-key proposal. Bidders must provide, with the bid, a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the proposed contract sum. No cashier checks allowed. All bidders are required to visit sites and field measure for sealing, striping & asphalt repairs. Mandatory: All bidders must check in with the main office prior to field measuring. No check in required on the weekend Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the proposal will be required by the successful primary contractor using sub-contractors. The cost of the bonds will be the responsibility of the selected contractor. The successful contractor will be required to agree to the contract, which will be based on the applicable AIA contract, prepared by Mehlville School District for the project. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. Mehlville School District (hereafter called the Owner) intends to solicit bids for Asphalt Repairs, at various locations throughout the School District. The Asphalt Repairs are to be performed during the summer of 2026. Contractors are directed to visit the site, and to investigate all conditions involved in the execution of the work, to fully acquaint themselves with the plans and specifications and the conditions in which the work is to be performed, then to provide all labor and materials for the required scope of work. Contractors are required to provide a satellite view of each property prior to sealing work to identify all existing asphalt markings including: lane striping, parking striping, directional arrows, playground markings, running track markings, etc. At the completion of the sealing work, all existing asphalt markings are required to be reinstalled. The contractor will not be allowed additional compensation for items on which he has failed to inform himself prior to the opening of the proposal. Submission of a proposal will be construed by the Mehlville School District that the contractor has complied with this directive. All bidders are required to visit sites and field measure for the required repairs.
