2026 Road Milling And Resurfacing Program Scope of work includes: 66,845 SY Bituminous Milling, 3,804 Tons 9.5mm WMA Leveling, 340 Tons -19mm Binder, 5,154 9.5mm WMA Wearing, 690 Tons 25mm HMA Base, various quantities of thermoplastic and epoxy markings lines and legends. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified as a prime contractor and must also meet the necessary work classification codes for the completion of the project. All bids submitted must have the contractor's valid pre-qualification certification attached or it will be rejected. A certified bank check or bond payable to North Huntingdon Township or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the OWNER, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid or bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications or any applicable statutes or ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. North Huntingdon Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates will be required on this project.
