Scope of work includes: 57,737 SY of Bituminous Pavement Rejuvenation. A certified bank check or bond payable to North Huntingdon Township or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the OWNER, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid or bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for (60) sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. North Huntingdon Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda mailed, faxed, or delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Only interpretations written by formal written Addenda will be binding.
