Sealed proposals are requested for the delivery of the following materials within 48 hours of notification and as directed: 1,700 tons (more or less) of anti-skid stone #8, 2,000 tons (more or less) of 2-A stone, 2,000 tons (more or less) of 2-B #57 stone, 500 tons (more or less) of #67 stone, 1,000 tons (more or less) of R-4 stone, 1,000 tons (more or less) of R-3 stone, 1,500 tons (more or less) of #8 screened slag, 1,500 tons (more or less) of screened cinders, 40,000 gallons of CRS-2 E-3 Oil, 2,700 gallons of E-1 Oil, and 10,000 gallons (more or less) of on-road diesel to be delivered weekly. Bids are also requested for the mowing, trimming, and sweeping of the Community Center yard, as well as mowing and trimming of the Township Municipal Building and Sewage Treatment Plant. Bidders should consult the Supervisors for specifications on mowing. All materials must meet the standard specifications of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. Proposal forms, specifications, form of contract, and instructions to bidders are available from the secretary. The Supervisors reserve the right to reject any or all proposals.
