The Project includes the following Work: Replacement of the existing storm sewer system, installation of new curbs, ADA improvements and associated paving. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Grantville Storm Sewer Replacement Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project, pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States.
