The work includes the construction of a public park comprising pickleball and fitness courts with a picnic shelter and restroom facility, as well as grading, sidewalks, fencing, retaining walls, and parking areas. The picnic shelter will be covered on three sides, and the restroom facility will be built with CMU bearing walls and a wood roof structure. The building is not expected to be sprinklered, and neither the picnic shelter nor restroom is intended for regular occupancy. Proposals must be submitted on the provided Form of Proposal and in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the project name and the bidder's information. Each proposal must include a certified check, cash, or bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base proposal as bid security. Proposal Forms must be filled out completely, and no qualifying letters or statements will be considered. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening. Failure by the awarded bidder to execute a satisfactory contract and 100% Performance and Payment Bond will result in elimination and forfeiture of bid security. Proposals not received in proper form and on time will be returned unopened. The owner reserves the right to reject any bid.
