Architect-Engineering (A-E) design services for the Charles George VA Medical Center, including development of full construction documents and specifications to correct mechanical and plumbing deficiencies identified in the Facility Condition Assessment for Building 47. Services include complete design for all required corrections throughout the 330,000-square-foot building, preparation of detailed drawings and specifications suitable for competitive construction procurement, cost estimating within established limitations, and coordination to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing Medical Center operations. Work shall comply with all VA design standards, VA Master Specifications, applicable codes, and requirements for sequencing of work in an active healthcare environment. All services shall be performed by a qualified SDVOSB firm in accordance with applicable acquisition regulations. Location: Charles George VA Medical Center 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805 The estimated magnitude of construction is between $ 5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
