CONTRACT NO. 26-S2 (CONTRACT A) NEW COLLEGE AND LOWER MOON RUN INTERCEPTOR UPGRADE: The project includes the replacement and relocation of approximately 225 linear feet of 30" SRJ P401 ductile iron sanitary sewer interceptor, manhole relocation, replacement and abandonment, replacement and relocation of 10" SRJ P401 forcemain, forcemain bypass and air-release valve vault, influent sewer vault, select demolition of the New College Lift Station, connection to existing facilities, cleaning and closed circuit televising (CCTV), bypass pumping, and necessary restoration for a complete job basis. CONTRACT NO. 26-S3 (CONTRACT B) NEW COLLEGE AND LOWER MOON RUN INTERCEPTOR UPGRADE: The project includes the open-cut in-trench replacement of approximately 1,400 linear feet of 30" SRJ P401 ductile iron sanitary sewer interceptor, interceptor cast-in-place concrete encasement, manhole relocation, replacement and abandonment, installation of manhole vault with orifice plate, select manhole lining, cleaning and CCTV, connection to existing facilities, and all required restoration. Work includes the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all necessary work to complete all General Construction in accordance with the Contract Documents. All bidders must purchase Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable fee. Proposals must be on specified forms and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Compliance with applicable federal, state, and municipal requirements, including the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Steel Products Procurement Act, and Public Works Employment Verification Act, is required. Contractors must demonstrate solicitation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) and compliance with Good Faith Efforts. The Center Township Sanitary Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
