**As of March 17, 2026, the project was awarded to Forward Traffic, with an awarded amount of $156,859.44.** Sealed bids are requested for the 2026 Pavement Marking Project at various locations throughout Kenosha County, Wisconsin. The scope includes mobilization, painting and installing various pavement markings such as 4-inch and 8-inch lines (yellow and white), arrows, words, railroad crossings, stop lines, dotted extensions, diagonal lines, crosswalks, and locating no passing zones using epoxy. All appurtenant construction is included. Bidders must file a "Bidders Proof of Responsibility Form" or have completed a Kenosha County public works project within the last five years. Bids must be submitted on the included proposal form, in a sealed envelope, with the bidder's name and purpose noted. A certified check or bid bond of not less than 5% of the bid is required, unless only unit pricing on material supply is provided. The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory performance bond for the full contract amount. The Department of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept the most advantageous bid for the County. QA date - 02/18/2026 at 3:00 PM CT
